Details

CycleOps' PowerBeam Pro turns a few feet of extra space into a world-class training and testing facility. The PowerBeam's superb adjustment and PowerTap measurement technology allow accurate power adjustment from 30 watts to 1000 watts, with slopes from 0- to 10-degrees. A wireless console shows your power, heart rate, speed, cadence and more, just like you'd see on the road. You can dial in target power for a given workload and download it afterwards with the included PowerAgent 7 software. Of course, the PowerBeam is one of the quietest trainers available and its frame is tough, sturdy and stable so you can ride as hard as you want. Once you get used to the superb control of the PowerBeam Pro, you might not want to ride outside!

    PowerBeam Pro does not work!

    Comments:

Just took the PowerBeam Pro out of the box. After riding for a few minutes the power unit began increasing to the point the wheel was slipping. After re-setting the unit and trying again it keeps happening. Now, after less than one hour of use, I cannot ride for more than a minute without it grinding to a halt. Don't waste the money.
